Busy bee

We’ve been really busy lately. I had drinks with a dear friend last night and she commented that I haven’t posted in a while…and I thought “yeah I have!” wait…no, I guess I haven’t! I’ve been really busy…but not necessarily accomplishing much. Trying to get things organized in time for the winter…trying to keep the dang grass seeds damp (not wet, just damp), working on getting Coen to poop again (he decided he didn’t like pooping on the toilet and so just stopped pooping altogether – luckily he overcame that this weekend and now he REALLY is potty trained), dealing with poor little mommy-addicted Coen since he caught a little cold over the weekend, and soaking up the last little bit of nice weather before the rains come.
We went to Seattle Center this weekend to give Coen a chance to run in the awesome fountain…he had a blast running around and scaring himself in the water. Then we took him for some fun at the little amusement park that’s right next to it…and to our shock and amasement he is actually tall enough to go on some of them by himself! He LOVED it!
Coen is just getting to be such a little man…he even did away with his beloved binkies this weekend…we were doing the nightly binky search and couldn’t find any of them…and so we just told him that “the other babies probably need them more…that was so nice of you to give your binkies away”” and he totally bought it! He’s asked for them a few times…but nothing traumatic, which is really crazy to Dave and I. We are both really glad to see them go.
Here are a few pics of course…

Ohhh, I love the fountain shot. So very cool. Looks like we should meet there while the weather is good! I bet Derick would LOVE it.

WOW! Those are some pretty great photos and what a big boy Coen is growing up to be.

The first two photos make me think of a wild alien attacking and Coen is running to get away. It looks like one of those great Sci-Fi movie posters from the 50’s. And of course I love the ones with him spinning and watching the carousel. What a gorgeous little boy you got there and your photos always make me want to run out and start snapping.

Holy cow, those first two photos are just unbelievably awesome! Lots of fun stuff going on…we’re dealing with similar poop issues over here!
