Yesterday Jamie and I headed South on a mini road-trip to take some pics with a bunch of other Flickr peeps! We took loads of pictures, had mucho fun, talked a bunch (it was an hour long drive!), and both agreed that it was kind of strange that NOBODY was talking to each other. My favorite part was towards the end when a model showed up and we stole her for a little photo session! cripes….what’s that all about ??? I would have talked to you….probably would have talked your ear off and you would have wished then that nobody had come near you….but we would have been laughing, too, especially with you now missing an ear and everything !!!

Your model’s cherry dress is perfect. What a great look to take pictures of, she’s got anice smile too and some wonderful shoes. Looks like it was an excellent time. I wonder if there is a group like that around here. Like I need another time commitment, but it sure looks like fun. 🙂

I definitely agree on the ‘not enough talking/sharing’ comment. I was a bit disappointed about that, as I hoped to connect with people a bit more. It was my first time with the group though, so I was a touch timid.
Along the same vein, I really like spontaneously sharing shots with people. I love getting different perspectives on composition. Seeing how different people took pictures of the nails for example.
Oh well, perhaps next time. 🙂

What absolute fun! I am so jealous. Wish I would have been on the trip. Trust me, I could have talked enough for everyone.
Guess some of those artistic types are tight-lipped? Your pictures are so rockin’ Kirsten. You just keep on keepin’ on with your bad self.
